This years convention was better than last year! The star guests were Bil Herd and Leonard Tramiel! They shared memories of the Commodore days and answered questions. You can watch the videos Robert Bernardo took on the official Website. We had many attendees there and filled the small room!
We had some great hardware and software products demonstrated and as usual did not disappoint.
Here are a few pictures I took:
John Ferrell's disk drive box - awesome!
I can tell Bil Herd has been here!
John Carlsen prepping for the presentation.
Some of the gang at the show.
Goodies presented at this years CommVEx...
John Carlsen presented his RGB adapter for the C128. This is an adapter for the GBBS 8220 converter board (www.jammaboards.com). For more information you can go to John's website. At the convention, he had a few adapters ready and sold a few at $40.00 USD. You can obtain one for $50.00 USD over the internet.
Leonard Roach presented some software projects that he has plans on improving.
Roger reviewed the MMC64 cartridge that was created by Jens Schoenfeld at Individual Computers.
Greg from Portland demonstrated his project improvement over the Comet64 card. Keep an eye on this one...once he has completed it, this card will offer some cool options! He has suggested a pricetag of approximately $100.00 USD, but that will not be decided until the unit is ready. See PDX for more info.
